Winter

It's too early for winter. Winter should come in Jan, when its too cold for mud. Right now the mud is surrounded by little ice patches so that after you pull your foot out of the mud you step on to an ice patch slip fall and land in the mud on the other side of the ice!

Well maybe not that bad but definitely a challenge. The chickens were not great fans of the snow, they stayed under the roof in the paddocks and in Harla's stall. I guess they didn't want to dig for worms. Fortunately the girls that were molting have stopped and regrown most of their feathers. I guess I can stop buying them salmon and mackerel.
